Don is originally from the Midwest and became a follower of Christ while earning a Bachelor of Science at the University of Iowa. Prior to HCFA, he was serving as a pastor in Northampton, MA, but was thrilled to return to campus ministry with Christian Union. Previous stops with Cru include the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Cornell, and he served as a civilian chaplain at West Point. Don is ordained and has an MDiv from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary.
Don is married to his amazing wife, Sally Anne, and they have two sons, Luke (15) and Jonathan (13). They are grateful to live and serve in Boston, the city they first met.
Anne earned a master of arts in counseling and theology from Gordon Conwell. Her degree spans mental health and family and marriage therapy. Anne completed her undergraduate degree at Luther College, studying English and art. Anne's experience includes counseling, behavioral health, and youth ministry. She lives in the Boston area with her husband, Andrew.
Teal earned a BA in English from the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, Virginia. After one year working for Duke University Health Systems, she migrated to the cold northeast to study Greek and Hebrew. She graduated Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary with an MA in Religion and then worked for the seminary for several years as an Admissions Representative. Her ministry experience emphasis is in teaching the Bible and discipling young women. When she’s not indulging a passion for literature, or training for half marathons, Teal enjoys deep conversation over good coffee and converting from country girl to Cambridge-dweller. Teal began working with Christian Union first as a volunteer and paid intern in 2012. She was such a blessing to the team and ministry that she was brought on board full time in 2013.
Christine was born and raised in Germantown, Maryland. She earned her Bachelors in Fine Arts with a Minor in Art History from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. Most recently she completed her Master of Divinity from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in South Hamilton, Massachusetts. While there she worked as a youth pastor in Woburn, Massachusetts. Her passions include teaching and preaching the Bible, evangelism and homeless ministry, both locally and abroad, and mentoring young women. She joined Christian Union as a volunteer in the spring of 2015 and joined the faculty later that summer. Christine loves all things Maryland and enjoys time with her family.
Nick serves as a Ministry Fellow at Harvard University. Nick is from the NJ/NY area and became a Christian during his freshman year at High Point University through the influence of a student-led Campus Crusade group. After graduating with a B.A. in English Writing and a minor in Religion/Philosophy, Nick moved to the Twin Cities and attended Bethel Seminary for three years, working towards his Master of Divinity degree while also serving as a youth pastor and as staff at Minnesota Teen Challenge. He next spent two years as a pastoral apprentice at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Minneapolis under John Piper in The Bethlehem Institute (TBI), and concurrently taught a number of theology and Bible classes at the undergraduate and graduate level. Nick studied at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary prior to joining Christian Union in the summer of 2008. In his free time Nick enjoys reading Jonathan Edwards and talking theology/philosophy, jogging, playing basketball.
Jon Yeager hails from Dallas, Texas. As an undergraduate at Texas A&M University's School of Architecture, he was also deeply involved in campus ministry leadership through his local church. He is a graduate of Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary where he earned his Masters of Divinity. While in the Boston area, Jon served as a Pastor-in-training at Seven Mile Road Church and as a Therapeutic Mentor for young adults in the community. In his free time, Jon enjoys discussing theology, playing soccer, and watching the English Premiere League. Jon is married to Brittany and they have one child, Ellie.
